About Us

Big Creativity. Little Mess.

We’re a Melbourne-based brand making creative play brighter, easier and a whole lot less messy for families everywhere.

Our Story: It Started With Crayons

Every parent knows the drill: snapped crayons, blunt tips, missing sharpeners and colour on the kitchen table that just won’t budge.

We wanted something better. Crayons that wouldn’t break in tiny hands, never needed sharpening, and actually washed off. So we made them. Our Silky Twist Crayons became the very first Pipkin Play product, and the start of everything we do.

“Let kids create freely, and make clean-up the easy part.”

Why “Pipkin”?

“Pipkin” is an old English word for something small and dear. That’s exactly who we make our products for: the little ones with big imaginations.

What We Believe

🎨 Creativity First: Bright colours and easy tools that let kids create without frustration.

🧽 Less Mess: Washable, tidy and easy to store, so playtime doesn’t end in a big clean-up.
